About Me

Hi, I’m Bhaskarjyoti Das. I pursue Service Design and Research in Design at TCS Research, India. My work primarily focuses on development of new service design strategies for consulting clients, and proliferation of service design practice in business organizations.

The range of my academic and professional interests include Service Design, Systems Thinking in Design, Design Research, Sustainable Design – Circular Economic Design, Design for Behavior Change, and Strategic Design.

I’ve studied Chemical Engineering at the undergraduate level from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar; and pursued my master’s in Product Design from the National Institute of Design (NID) Ahmedabad, in addition to fellowship in Circular Economy from Ellen McArthur Foundation, UK

I have conducted several design workshops for business organizations (IT, BFSI, NGOs). I have also contributed to several research papers in the domain of design management, service design, and systems design in international academic conferences and symposiums.
I’ve also co-authored a book, Devi: A Journey through photo-poetry.

Let’s collaborate

I’m actively looking for creative collaborations in the field of service design, circular economy, social innovation, and experience design. I bring work experience in systemic design approaches and rigorous design research for building products and service systems in multiple business domains.
