About me
Hi, I’m Bhaskarjyoti Das, and people casually call me Bhaskar /ˈbh-ah-sk-uh-r/. I currently pursue Service Design Research at TCS Research, India.
My work primarily focuses on development of new service design strategies for consulting clients, and proliferation of service design practice in business organizations. The range of my academic and professional interests include Service Design, Systems Thinking in Design, Design Research, Sustainable Design – Circular Economic Design, Design for Behavior Change, and Strategic Design.
I pursued B.TECH. in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar; and M.DES. in Product Design from National Institute of Design (NID) Ahmedabad, in addition to fellowship in Circular Economy from Ellen McArthur Foundation, UK. I have conducted several design workshops for business organizations (IT, BFSI, NGOs). I have also contributed to several research papers in the domain of design management, service design, and systems design in international academic conferences and symposiums.
I’ve also co-authored a book, Devi: A Journey through photo-poetry.
Lets collaborate!
I’m actively looking for creative collaborations in the field of service design, circular economy, social innovation, and experience design. I bring more than 5 years of work experience in design thinking, agile processes, systemic design approaches, service design and rigorous design research in multiple business domains.
